Why, hello! It's been a while...how are you?

Thanks for the favourite.

I'm okay. Really busy, though. School is a bitch right now, except art classes. The homework's not even so bad yet, it's just the scheduling and group projects that are killing me. I cannot wait for this quint to be over in 4 weeks. The real nightmarish stuff is going to start sometime next week. I have a zillion projects in Stats that are going to need to get done this quint. Then when it's over, two blissful weeks of actually interesting stuff and working on the same things for a while and then I get to go home and relax.
So, yeah. The rant above lies in waiting for people to ask how I am. ;)
And how are you? I haven't heard from you in ages, probably because we didn't talk much even beforehand. What's going on in your life?
:iconkakanji:
Sounds stressful. What (or how long), may I ask, is a "quint"? It sounds college-y and sophisticated... no doubt related to the number five. I want one.

I admire your ability to look so far ahead. I can't think farther than the next few days right now, which is slightly irresponsible of me considering I have four major projects due on Monday and several important tests on Tuesday. The source of my distraction is Watchmen, which I am seeing tomorrow. YAY WATCHMEN!

How am I? As you can see, I am (as usual) doggedly avoiding my absurdly massive workload in favor of silly things like Rorschach and Lost. Otherwise nothing's really changed.

I wish we had talked more beforehand. I think we're both relatively quiet people--or maybe just I am--who would have had a lot to talk about if we had only the opportunity. Also, I think we may have been slightly sidetracked by the presence of Meaghan, who seems to attract everyone's complete attention wherever she goes, the little dear (xD).

...that was a long message. Wow.
:iconnikipound:
In the Franklin school year, there are 5 5-week quints and 2 2-week intersessions. It's good because we usually have breaks in between, and the longest stretch of school at one time is the one I'm in- seven weeks in a row.

Some of the people at my school saw Watchmen as part of their Graphic Novel elective course. Hee. The electives here are awesome. I'm in Statistics, Figure Drawing, and Sculpting.

Jealous. I don't get to watch much TV anymore because of a combination of having to share the one television with the entire hall and being unable to watch even online videos because of the slow connection.

I think so too. I think another factor, though, is that we never really had much time together. Meaghan and I were on the bus together pretty much every day, which is how I met her in the first place. I have a lot of regrets about my time at Springside, like spending time with people my age who didn't appreciate me instead of branching out and making friends with people who would.
:iconkakanji:
Ah, I see...

Sweet. That sounds fun. How're they? I'd take a graphic novel elective course... By the way, I saw the movie and it was absolutely amazing. I'm quite obsessed.

Aw, I'm sorry. That stinks! I just had to go an entire weekend without internet or cable and I nearly died of boredom. At least you get more time to read. :D

That's true, too. Well, you made friends with Meaghan, right? That's branching out... Oh, speaking of Springside! Guess who is the new (temporary) head of upper school?! MR. D! Isn't that cool? The only sad part is Dr.J is leaving, and Mr. D'll have to stop teaching science, which is a shame because he's a really good teacher. :C
